Candice Coleman is a passionate educator with 18 years of experience. She is a former High School Special Education Teacher and Student Services Coordinator. Mrs. Coleman began her career in D428 three years ago as an Assistant Principal at Jefferson Elementary School and now serves as the Principal of Tyler Elementary School.

Mrs. Coleman is deeply committed to building strong relationships with students and families. A proud district parent, she and her husband—who also works in the district—have three children who attend our schools and are active in both school and community activities.

Mrs. Coleman's dedication to education and community shines through in everything she does, and she’s excited to lead with heart, purpose, and a student-first mindset.
